Nelle opere di Alexandra Kordas si percepisce una componente materica decisa che è indice della sua forte energia creativa. In ogni tela è possibile ravvisare una matrice pittorica e segnica che affonda le sue origini
tanto nel gesto quanto nel colore. Il gesto artistico è deciso, vorticoso, tridimensionale, sino a creare una deformazione dei normali parametri spazio-tempo per andare a definire una matrice nuova, densa di energia, che mostra un colore pieno, traboccante, gioioso nel contrasto dei chiaroscuri. In the light of vuole essere un omaggio tanto alla creatività dell’artista quanto alla potenza dell’arte in sé, che riesce a restituire una luce tanto reale quanto divina, ispirata dal colore, dalla realtà circostante, dalla vita che emerge. È un farsi materia che si compone e scompone per creare una sequenza di opere quasi in serie, dove tuttavia ciascuna tela si differenzia dall’altra per sperimentazione di colore, movimento, energia compositiva, contrasto, in una nitida risoluzione di toni che evidenziano una nuova tridimensionalità, un gioco effimero che è vita stessa. Nella risoluzione del gesto la pennellata diventa protagonista di un nuovo alfabeto descrittivo in cui segno e gesto dialogano, si mescolano, fondono linee e punti, e restituiscono così una trama in cui ogni segno diventa un gesto. Alla luce di energia vitale, bellezza della vita che si esalta in un fondo giallo, pieno, come un campo d’estate. È una luce irreale eppure viva, tangibile, che pone nello spettatore un interrogativo, ovvero dove termina la realtà e dove inizia la fantasia. Le sue tele sono mondi sospesi tra realtà e sogno, luce e contrasto, in cui l’uomo perde sé stesso a fronte di un mondo altro, che oltrepassa il confine della logica ed abbraccia la fantasia più libera, in una traduzione felice di autonomia ed indipendenza da ogni legame con il mondo reale. In questo fluttuare libero, l’anima viaggia leggera, sciolta da vincoli, e approda alle più alte forme del pensiero, illuminato alla luce di...una rinnovata quantomai sconosciuta lievità dell’essere che è tempo, presenza, passato e futuro insieme.

In Alexandra Kordas' works we perceive a strong material component which is indicative of her strong creative energy. In each canvas it is possible to recognize a pictorial and symbolic matrix that has its origins in both gesture and color. The artistic gesture is decisive, swirling, three-dimensional, to the point of creating a deformation of the normal space-time parameters to define a new matrix, dense with energy, which shows a full, overflowing, joyful color in the contrast of chiaroscuro. In the light of wants to be a tribute both to the artist's creativity and to the power of art itself, which manages to restore a light that is as real as it is divine, inspired by colour, by the surrounding reality, by the life that emerges. It is a becoming of matter that is composed and decomposed to create a sequence of works almost in series, where however each canvas differs from the other through experimentation with colour, movement, compositional energy, contrast, in a clear resolution of tones that highlight a new three-dimensionality, an ephemeral game that is life itself. In the resolution of the gesture, the brushstroke becomes the protagonist of a new descriptive alphabet in which sign and gesture dialogue, mix, merge lines and points, and thus return a plot in which each sign becomes a gesture. In the light of vital energy, the beauty of life that is enhanced in a full, yellow background, like a summer field. It’s an unreal yet alive, tangible light, which poses a question in the viewer, namely where reality ends and where fantasy begins. Her canvases are worlds suspended between reality and dream, light and contrast, in which man loses himself in the face of another world, which goes beyond the border of logic and embraces the freest imagination, in a happy translation of autonomy and independence from any connection with the real world. In this free floating, the soul travels lightly, freed from constraints, and arrives at the highest forms of thought, illuminated by the light of... a renewed and yet unknown lightness of being which is time, presence, past and future together.
