Between heaven and hell, life and death, joy, happiness and pain, my artworks thematize the opposites of our being, the turmoil between salvation and damnation. Our being is determined by the opposites of the poles, by the opposites of good and evil, suffering and joy in private as well as in public life. My deepest need is to open the eyes of the viewer for this. Bringing him to a confrontation with himself and the world, in the hope not only to make the world a better place for all of us, but also lead our souls ultimately to salvation.
